You Pay Either Way
-
Good news: No more contracts for T-Mobile. Bad news: It doesn't make a difference, since all they're doing is selling phones on the installment plan, which works out to about the same. It may save you a little overall, but, basically, for a Samsung Galaxy S III, you'd pay $70 up front, then $90 a month for the unlimited plan, which would include $20 per month over 2 years to pay for the phone. And once it's paid off, that $20 comes off your bill... until you buy a new phone. But you WILL want a new phone, so it's neither here nor there. (AP via Los Angeles Daily News)
