Can We Pretend It Never Happened?

We can agree -- okay, some of you might not agree, but I'll just put it out there that states shouldn't be flying the Confederate Flag. But here's a situation that might be a little more gray-area: After come controversy, the Confederate battle flag has been removed from a Civil War historical exhibit inside the old North Carolina State Capitol. Arguably, it was a museum piece. The flag's existence is fact, so can you object to it ever being shown, even in a context in which it's merely a historical artifact? Would you demand a Nazi flag be removed from an exhibit about World War II Germany? (AP via Raleigh News and Observer)
