They're Probably Going 75 On The Free Road, Anyway

How much would it be worth to you to drive on a toll road that'll let you go 85 mph? Turns out that in Texas, where the new Texas 130 toll road between San Antonio and Austin (technically, Seguin and Mustang Ridge) lets you just that, revenues are way lower than expected because the road's only drawn about half the expected number of cars. Money trumps speed every time, or haven't you noticed how the toll lanes on freeways in L.A. tend to be empty while the free main lanes are jammed? (San Antonio Express-News)
