Really? Someone sued the Texas DMV for NOT issuing Confederate Flag license plates? They thought that was discrimination? A court ruled against the plaintiffs, saying that the plates are a "nonpublic forum" where the state could restrict expression, and that approving a Buffalo Soldiers plate wasn't precedent for their plate, because the Buffalo Soldiers weren't offensive (even to Native Americans) -- there were no complaints. So... no racist symbol on the plates. Maybe Brad Paisley can write a song about it. (Courthouse News)
