Wait, how did it slip by almost unnoticed that the Co-Majority Leader of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Dennis Johnson, actually used the phrase "Jew me down" in a debate over small business regulation? He apologized, but you have GOT to be kidding me that in 2013, that phrase -- not used as a joke, but totally in context and seriously -- can be uttered by a prominent politician and everyone shrugs it off like, well, it happens. Add that to all the "Christian country"-style rhetoric, and then the GOP wonders why it has such a hard time getting Jews to vote Republican. (Tulsa World)
