Again, It's All About The Coverup

It seems like there's a national movement to hold colleges to account for how they handle, or mishandle, sexual assault on campus. This article's about a complaint filed against Swarthmore and there was one recently against Occidental College, too. And when you hear about a community college in St. Louis dealing with an alleged assault with deadly intent on a female student by allegedly simply releasing the attacker from custody with a warning not to come back on campus, you can see how there's a problem. And there is. There's ALWAYS been a problem; I've written before about an alleged rape on my college campus that got sent to an "honor code" panel rather than the police, and that was 30 years ago. It hasn't changed; colleges just want to sweep crime on campus under the rug. (WCAU-TV/Philadelphia; St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
