The ad for Lancôme makeup says that its foundation is meant to stay on all day and night and offer "lasting perfection." This woman bought a bottle, and he didn't remain fresh for 24 hours. She's suing. you could say that everybody understands that advertising puffery is something that you can't take literally, but if they're going to make a claim, shouldn't they be held responsible for? If their product doesn't do what it says it will do, shouldn't they be responsible? (ABC News)
