It was a nice story in 2011, the world's first double leg transplant. But the patient got another illness, had to stop taking the anti-rejection meds, and thus ended up having both legs amputated. That sucks, but at least there's hope that we're closer to the day when they'll solve the rejection issue and transplanted limbs will be more commonplace. (Agence France-Presse via News.com.au)
