We know already that the Affordable Care Act is it going to make care all that affordable, but this article, about how Kaiser Permanente is jacking up premiums in California for the alleged purpose of avoiding a large number of new subscribers who might have greater need for healthcare, while competitors who are charging less are also offering very limited coverage and restricted networks of providers, points out that we're all going to get worse coverage at greater cost, and there won't be any way to avoid it.
