Consider It A Bonding Experience
-
The Oakland A's don't sell out often, but they drew a sellout for the getaway game this weekend against Seattle, and that, the team says, is why the sewage system failed and filled the clubhouse showers and umpires' room, managers' rooms, and visiting trainer's room. The teams had to go up to the Raiders' locker room and shower together. This is not the first time there's been a problem at the Coliseum; the Angels once complained about unsanitary conditions and the threat of E.coli. And the A's are using this as another example of why they need a new park (San Jose, if the Giants ever relent, or Vegas, or someplace else....) (San Francisco Chronicle)
