Did someone really ask the CFO of Dunkin' Donuts at an analysts' conference if the company has plans to bring back the "time to make the doughnuts" ad campaign? Yes, and he said no. I mean, it's an old campaign and the guy who played Fred the Baker's dead, so... no. More interesting is that the CFO noted that the company really isn't as much about the donuts as it is about beverages ("America Runs on Dunkin'"), where the real money is.
