Every plane crash has a near-miss story ("near-miss" is a misnomer, right? It wasn't a near miss. It missed. It was a near-HIT) , and the SFO Asiana crash is no different. Facebook's Sheryl Sandberg, of "Lean In" fame, was supposed to be on that flight but rescheduled. She's probably pretty glad she did. But I wonder how long that kind of thing weighs on your mind afterwards, like Seth MacFarlane missing his flight from Boston to L.A. that happened to be one of the flights that ended up hitting the Twin Towers on 9/11. He told Adam Carolla that it's not weighing on his mind every time, but if I had his money, I'd fly private after that. (USA Today)
