I'm not sure why it's turned surprising that a study shows that living in the wrong ZIP Code can mean a shorter life expectancy. I would think that would be obvious. If you leave in a poor area, you probably either don't have access to adequate healthcare, or you can't afford it. You also might have a job that's more dangerous than somebody who happens to live in a wealthier area. But the key is healthcare, and that's an additional element in the debate over the Affordable Care Act. (ABC News)
