That's How Consecutive Sentencing Is SUPPOSED To Work

Good news, O.J. - you've been granted parole! Bad news, O.J. - you're not going anywhere. Seems that he was paroled on some charges, but he still has to serve at least four more years because his terms were ordered to run consecutively. So, officially, he's paroled as of October 2nd, and then serves the minimum on four other sentences (those will run concurrently) and will have another parole hearing in a year; then, two more consecutive terms. Feel bad for him? Didn't think so. (AP via ABC News)
