The verdict is in for that lab-grown "beef", which was the subject of a London tasting with the meat fabricated in a lab from cow muscle made into burgers, and the response was... meh. Texture's fine, flavor isn't. For $325,000, you want more than meh, but what this means is that it's possible. The first batch is never quite right, but someday this will be commonplace. In the meantime, would you eat it for any price? (New York Times)
