This is a pretty poorly written/researched list of "Five Historic Stadiums You Must See." I wouldn't put Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden on the list -- they're replacements for the REAL historic venues of the same names and a shadow of the real thing. (This article notes that the Garden was opened in 1968 yet says the 1951 Marciano-Louis fight was there. Er, no.) Wrigley, Fenway, Lambeau, sure, and I feel lucky to have seen all of those. But what about, oh, how about Dodger Stadium, the Rose Bowl, Michigan Stadium, the Palestra, Hinkle Field House, Cameron Indoor Stadium... and those are just off the top of my head. You can come up with a better list, too. (Examiner.com via CBSPhilly.com)
