An Indiana father allegedly slapped his 3-year-old son during a grammar lesson. A what? Dad told the cops that he slapped the boy because the kid "wouldn't look him in the eye as he talked" while Dad taught him "sentence structure," namely starting questions with "May I please...." Wasn't that a scene in "The King's Speech"? Anyway, here's the thing: By now, we see all kinds of examples of bad parenting on TV shows and in movies, so how are some parents still acting like Joan Crawford? (Indianapolis Star via USA Today)
