Nothing New That I Really Needed
-
This review in the L.A. Times of the iPhone 5S pretty much seals it for me. I have a 4S, and I was ready -- oh, how I was ready -- to upgrade as soon as they opened phone orders, but after I upgraded the old phone to iOS 7, something told me that spending $200 plus a two-year contract for a 5S was going to be a waste, and, sure enough, the things you get -- the thumbprint scanner, the faster chip, the camera improvements -- aren't enough for me to upgrade. I'd rather wait for the iPhone 6 next year and what will probably be a bigger, faster, better model, or look at the top Android models. But when I went to just take a look at the 5S, the queue was out the door at the Apple Store. So... did you upgrade? What do you think? Or are you a holdout like me? (Los Angeles Times)
