Bang For The Buck

LAX spent $1.9 billion -- with a B -- for renovations to the Tom Bradley International Terminal. But they didn't improve the Wi-Fi, didn't put in the workstations travelers need to do a little work on their laptops while waiting for their flights, didn't put in printing stations. Wi-Fi, work desks, and printers are among the things travelers say they need the most at airports. And one traveler noted a lack of drinking fountains and places to sit. But on the bright side, they put in big advertising monitors and shops too expensive for most of us. (Los Angeles Times)
