An Attempted Murder Charge Wouldn't Be Out Of Order
-
I have a personal reason to want to shame the manager of a Kent, WA apartment complex who's been charged with letting day laborers rip out asbestos from the ceilings without respirators. My father died from mesothelioma, which is what you get from inhaling asbestos fibers. He didn't even work with asbestos -- his father did. And meso is one of the worst ways to die -- intense pain that morphine won't dull, inability to breathe, agony for months. That's what this guy allegedly exposed these workers to. If he did, that's a scumbag thing to do. Sorry for getting all serious with you there, but I have no tolerance for people allowing others to be exposed to asbestos. (AP via KOMO-TV/Seattle)
