From Crack To Prilosec

Next Tuesday, a sign of how much things can change over the years is opening in Chicago. Remember Cabrini-Green, the infamous crime-ridden high-rise public housing complex? Known around the world for its uncompromising bleakness? They tore the place down, getting rid of the symbol of the futility of some public anti-poverty campaigns and 1950s-1960s high-rise low-income housing, and in its place: Target. Yes, what was once one of the worst neighborhoods in America will have a shiny, clean, new Target store, steps away from the old Death Alley, where gangs killed each other. Talk about a turnaround.
