Maybe In Another Decade This Will All Seem Quaint

Look, I won't tell anyone how to observe their own religion. I just find it weird that a congregation in Pennsylvania is putting a pastor "on trial" for having the temerity to officiate at his gay son's wedding in Massachusetts. I mean, IT'S HIS SON. It was legal, and even if the religion's against gay marriage, it's his son. If you can't forgive him for that (if, indeed, it's something needing forgiveness, which I don't think it is), you're a harder heart than I am. Nice, though, that 30 other Methodist ministers plan to officiate a gay marriage in solidarity with the pastor. Times are changing fast. (WHTM-TV and WHP-TV/Harrisburg)
