Everything You Know Is Wrong: An article in the British Medical Journal says that saturated fat isn't the culprit for heart disease. Instead, the rush to cut all saturated fat out of diets may, they now say, have CAUSED more heart disease by pushing people into consuming more empty carbs and sugars to replace the red meat and full-fat dairy. In fact, obesity took off when the war on fat started. So, really, everyone's full of it, and nobody knows anything. Noted. (Los Angeles Times)
