Recession Stuff: Should we be concerned that 34 financial institutions, including AIG, didn't pay their quarterly TARP dividends to the Treasury like we were told they would? Or that it turns out that despite what we were told about how they'd pay and it would reduce public risk, they were never REQUIRED to pay back the money, and they're hoarding it now instead of paying it back or lending it out? Who in government is responsible for flushing billions of dollars into the toilet?
