A Market Of 6.5 Million People And Not One Cab To Take Her?
-
You can assume that life in a wheelchair isn't always easy. But you don't expect this: A woman who needed a cab ride from a downtown Dallas hotel to her own hotel in suburban Grand Prairie had to sit there for 15 hours before a cab that would take her in her chair showed up. She says the hotel pressured her to leave their lobby, too. Apparently, no wheelchair-capable cabs were available for 15 hours. That's... unlikely. And if I'm running the hotel, the moment I find out that no cabs are coming, I'd take the hotel airport van or a truck or even rent a minivan and drive her myself. (WFAA-TV/Dallas)
