Like There Hasn't Been Anything New To Be Outraged About Since Then
-
The Internet works on its own time, which explains why something that came and went during the summer is suddenly a controversy again: at a Burger King in Central Washington, a disgruntled worker used the store's loose-letter sign to post a message that jobs were available, but applicants "Must Be Mexican." The employee was immediately fired, and the controversy went away, but somebody didn't get the message and posted it again, and now there are protests. What else is the company supposed to do? And why doesn't anybody even do a Google search before getting into a frenzy? (KIRO-TV/Seattle)
