To A 25 Year Old, It Might As Well Be The McKinley Assassination
-
There's a topic expressed in passing in this article about the avalanche of TV specials coming this week to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination: Does it mean anything to anyone who's not a Boomer? It was a defining, cataclysmic event for people over 55, but for anyone younger, it's something you learned about in history class. Will there be this kind of attention for the 60th, or 75th, anniversary? Or is this something for the Boomers and not the following generations? (New York Times)
