How About Calling Them 'The 54th Player On The Roster'?
-
A few years ago, Texas A&M, owner of the trademark for "The 12th Man," cut a licensing deal with the Seattle Seahawks calling for $100,000 plus $5,000 a year through 2016. Now, well, you know. Think the school wants to renegotiate? Turns out they are. At this point, isn't it really a matter of they can get whatever they ask for? The Seahawks really can't abandon this 12th Man thing, can they? By the way, Marshawn Lynch owns "Beastmode." He makes six figures from it. (KOMO-TV/Seattle)
