Marshawn Lynch doesn't talk to sportswriters. He barely talked at Media Day. The Pro Football Writers of America is, according to a statement, "appalled" that he won't cooperate. Okay, it IS their job to get stories, and the NFL DOES want players to talk, and it IS part of being a sports celebrity. But does it matter, really, if he talks? What's he gonna say that would be newsworthy? What does he gain from it, and what information do WE gain? Why not let the quiet guys be quiet? Does everyone have to be Richard Sherman? (UPDATE: On Wednesday, he talked. Barely. BEcause the league made him. So... why?) (Deadspin)
