Why, Yes, It IS Brain Surgery
-
A brain surgeon -- no, really, he's an actual cut-open-that-head brain surgeon -- walked six miles in snow to get to emergency surgery. Traffic in Birmingham was snarled by snow, he realized that he might not make it to save the patient, so he got out of the car and walked. He says it wasn't that big of a deal, since he walks all the time, and in terms of distance walked, he's right -- I do more than that in a jog every day. But to get to the hospital to perform surgery? In the snow? Yeah, the guy's a hero. (NBC News with AP)
