What Is 'It's Perfect When There's Nothing Else On'?
-
As the Alex Trebek syndicated version of "Jeopardy!" (don't forget the exclamation mark) marks its 30th season, it's a good time to talk about why it's become such an institution. Everybody's seen it, everyone knows the "answer in the form of the question" rule, everyone has played along. What do you think is the appeal? It's relatively serious, requires real (and wide-ranging) knowledge, and is the polar opposite of its syndication partner "Wheel of Fortune," but it's still iconic, especially the current version (Art Fleming was well-known and the NBC version was a hit, but not like this). Why do YOU watch? (USA Today)
