The New York Times issued a correction for its story on "12 Years a Slave." Not the movie, the book. And the article was in the paper on January 20, 1853. No, really, they've corrected the spelling of Solomon Northrup's name, which they got wrong in 1853. Credit, or blame, the Internet: Someone went back, found the story, and spread the news about the misspelling via social media. Glad the record's straight. (CNN)
