Impeccably timed, another lawsuit has been filed against the NCAA alleging that it and its top 5 conferences are an unlawful cartel preventing the athletes from making money while taking insane profits for the schools. And that's true, but, then again, who's forcing the kids to play for college teams? Okay, some pro leagues have age restrictions, but you can go to Europe, too. Do you have the right to play sports and be paid for it? Still, the NCAA is making a fortune, and you can't blame the hired help for wanting to share in it, seeing as how it's them who people are paying to see. (WCBS-TV/New York-AP)
