San Diego's City Hall is being worked on, and as a result, they've put a line of porta-potties along C Street, which, unfortunately for the city, happens to be right on the trolley route and walked past daily by many tourists. And the potties, well, smell. But there's no choice, the city says; with all the work on the civic center, homeless people have no place else to go, and by "go" I mean what you think I mean. Once again, the subject of public bathrooms, and/or lack of them, is an issue. Why can't cities just build clean, safe, patrolled bathrooms in strategic locations so this is not an issue? (KNSD-TV/San Diego)
