They called the mother of a missing woman to the funeral home to prepare the funeral for her missing daughter, who the medical examiner had announced was dead. But then mom asked to see the body. And you know what happened next: The dead woman wasn't her daughter. Whoops. The interesting part is that the medical examiner doesn't use scientific evidence like fingerprints, DNA and dental records to identify bodies unless absolutely necessary, because it costs too much and delays things.
