As odious as David Samson, President of the Miami Marlins, can be, does he have a point that baseball games are too long and need to pick up the pace to attract younger audiences? I remember when games were a little over two hours on average, and now it's around three hours. And it IS interminable. He's trying to get his own team to speed it up, but that'll go nowhere. (ESPN)
