A Bully, You Say? Good To Know
-
The guy who bullied his neighbor and her disabled adult children for 15 years got sentenced to both jail and holding a sign saying, "I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. My actions do not reflect an appreciation for the diverse South Euclid community that I live in." And so he was out there Sunday sitting next to the sign, and not happy about it. Among his bullying acts were to blow kerosene smell onto her property, spit at her, call her a "monkey momma" (the kids are African-American), and throwing poop on her son's car windshield and on a wheelchair ramp they built for the kids. Question: Is this kind of "creative punishment" effective? Does humiliation work? (Cleveland Plain Dealer/Northeast Ohio Media Group)
