After 43 years, the families of two South Dakota girls finally know what happened to them when they disappeared in 1971, as officials verified last year's discovery of their remains in a car that was submerged upside down for decades that emerged when drought conditions lowered water levels. It appears that they ran off a bridge in an accident and nobody found them. In the meantime, the families didn't know, a guy was falsely accused of murdering them, and a father lived until 102 years old but never knew for sure what happened to his daughter.
