A New York Times report alleges that the rape investigation against Jameis Winston had one small flaw: there was practically no investigation at all. The cops didn't follow leads, not even with video of some of the incident. They didn't take Winston's DNA. The detective handling the case stalled for two months and then suspended the investigation without telling the accuser. The video magically disappeared. And the college looked the other way. We know that colleges are horrible when it comes to dealing with sexual assault, but this is about as blatant as it gets. (New York Times)
