Take That, Ray Kurzweil

They took the blood of a woman who lived to 115 years old to see what they could find out about longevity, and they found something interesting: She was down to about two stem cells in her blood -- you're born with about 20,000. And that indicates that no matter how much we think we can do things to live forever, there's a limit to how long humans can live. It's theoretically possible to take blood donated early in life and inject it to increase stem cells when you're older, but that wouldn't do anything for your organs, and if the organs lose stem cells like blood, they'll just wear out.
