This Is The Bad Part Of Living Here
-
It's dry and hot this week in Southern California, so things like this happen: Carlsbad, CA on fire. Homes are burning. It's horrible -- mid-90s, bone dry. And it can happen anywhere out here. To place it for you, Carlsbad is north of San Diego and south of Orange County, just south of Camp Pendleton by the ocean, where Legoland is. It's a frequent stop for me on my way to and from San Diego (the Costco on Palomar Airport Road has a gas station) and it's a popular area for a yearly tulip display, car dealers, outlet stores, and In-N-Out Burger. And it's on fire, which sucks. The link presently has live coverage from CBS 8. (KFMB-TV/San Diego)
