The market works: Tickets for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals were so expensive on the secondary market, you could buy a plane ticket and a ticket to a potential Game 5 in L.A. cheaper. And then the Rangers sh-t the bed in Game 3, so, with the Blueshirts facing elimination, ticket prices for Game 4 plummeted. With the only outcomes being either watching the Kings win the Cup or seeing the Rangers extend the series by a game and sending it back to L.A. (and praying for another win to force a Game 6 at the Garden), it's no wonder New York fans aren't interested in spending as much. But it'll be a bargain if you're an L.A. expatriate who wants a chance to see history. (WCBS-TV/New York)
