The government website charged with making federal spending "more transparent" has some opaqueness of its own to answer for: The information on USASpending.gov is missing $619 billion or more from several departments. The various departments, from Health and Human Services (almost $544 billion not reported) to the White House, didn't report everything, and for over 22% of federal awards, the website has no idea where the money went. Who the heck is in charge over there? (USA Today)
