You Give Bidding On A Football Franchise A Bad Name (sorry)
-
So, nobody bought Jon Bon Jovi's line about whatever it was that he said about buying the Buffalo Bills, and it turns out that he and his Toronto partners' first bid was rejected as too low but he's being allowed to revise the bid. But it seems like the fact that Bon Jovi and Co. Ltd. are not willing to really, really commit to keeping the Bills in Buffalo (or Orchard Park - close enough) is also a factor. Donald Trump is also in the game, but oil/gas magnate and Sabres owner Terry Pegula is the likely winner -- not glamorous, but at least it's most likely that the team stays if Pegula is the owner.
