Would Have Taken 39 Seconds If They Didn't Stop At The Food Court For Lunch
-
How is it that in broad daylight in the middle of a shopping mall, masked robbers could burst in, smash the displays, grab $250,000 worth of Rolexes and diamonds, and get away, all in 49 seconds, without anyone in the mall or outside noticing until it was too late? This happened in a mall near me -- it's where our local Apple Store is -- and while the mall (other than Apple, Sephora, and the restaurants) isn't usually crowded, it's busy enough that a getaway (especially since the exits to Sepulveda and Rosecrans are usually clotted with traffic) shouldn't have been that easy. And did nobody see guys with masks walking through the mall? Something's a little weird about this. (Daily Breeze, Torrance)
