Firing coaches in mid-season is a pro thing, but the University of Kansas has chosen to not wait and has fired Charlie Weis four games (and a 2-2 record) into his third season. He will be paid a huge sum to not coach, but the school decided enough was enough. Seems we've been here before with Weis, who was 6-22 at Kansas and has two years left on his contract. Remember, he's STILL being paid by Notre Dame. Think any other program will give him yet another shot at a head coaching job now? Have we finally had enough of Weis? (Wichita Eagle)
