Bad Service And Out-Of-Stock Items. Sounds Like A Plan
-
Brick-and-mortar retail stores are getting ready to battle Amazon for holiday sales, and this article touts price-matching and how Amazon is raising prices as reasons retailers are going to do well. But then there's this: I was in the market for a particular item, priced it on Amazon, and then thought, you know, I'm going to be near Best Buy today, they price-match, their web site shows they have the item in stock at that location, I'll go in, check it out, and buy it there. And I went, had to search for the item, and found it... out of stock. The place was in disarray, and they didn't have what they said they'd have. Did I mention that the place was empty of customers? That's retail reality. (WCCO-TV/Minneapolis)
