Won't Know Until He Tries

Rugby star Jarryd Hayne abruptly quit Australia's Parramatta Eels so he can come to America and try to play in the NFL. His timing's interesting -- midseason -- and the chances of a rugby player switching to football in any position other than kicker or punter are, shall we say, limited. Can a guy like him cope with very large, very fast men slamming into him? Sure, he plays a rough sport with no pads, but pads or no, rugby isn't populated by fast 300 pounders. The other topic is about chucking your career to follow your passion, of course. (ABC Australia)
