Bread Basket Removal Can Be Really Expensive
-
It is true that the guy who invented the game Operation is resorting to crowdfunding to pay for his own operation. He sold the game for $500 and never saw any other money from the now-legendary game, and he needs to raise $25,000 to pay for surgery that's not covered by insurance. He did get kinda ripped off -- he invented the game as a college student, sold the rights to a toy designer who promised him a job after college, and never got the job. Meanwhile, the designer licensed Operation to Milton Bradley and the rest is history. I know there's a bunch of jokes you can make about how he needs for his funny bone or wish bone removed, but I'll let you make them. (News.com.au)
