You Best Not Believe In Ghosts
-
This couple says they'll keep the house they bought despite discovering only after the deal went into escrow that it was the scene of a murder. Worse, it was a well-publicized S&M dungeon murder, meaning that their basement was the dungeon and scene of the crime. If this seems similar to that recent case near St. Louis, it is, but in this case, the buyers are willing to stick it out. And it happened because the house was purchased from a bank in a foreclosure through an agent who had no knowledge of the murder, and the bank wasn't under an obligation to disclose. Why not? Wouldn't you want to know? But what DO you know about what happened in your home before you moved in, anyway? (KFMB-TV/San Diego)
